Today was better.
I drank all three of my shakes—I missed my 2nd and 3rd one yesterday. 

I stepped on my scale this morning—and here’s the verdict–I’m 5 pounds lighter. đŸ™‚ That makes me happy.

I made decaffinated, unsweetened iced tea this evening for dinner—something different to drink–finally.  I’ve had nothing but water to drink for the last four days.

Tonight we had some homemade chicken fajitas–without the tortillas, cheese, rice, or beans, you know, the good stuff.  However, it was still pretty good.  I chopped half an onion, half a bell pepper, and a cherry tomato and grouped it with some real butter, garlic, and chicken.  I fried it up in a pan with some light olive oil and it came out not all that bad.  Cliff and I both had plenty. 

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. 
The shakes are starting to taste not quite so bad, but I’m still hungry for a pizza.
